Baby Girl Bookatrix

Afternoon all just popped on with a Bookatrix for a Baby girl have been trying to start it for over a week seemed to have crafters block with it glad it eventually came together last night thought i was never gonna get it done.

The image is from a topper sheet printed from Joanna Sheens Baby love cd i used the medium sized image to Decoupage it.

all components were from my stash.

Silver wedding Bookatrix

Hi all back again here's the second card a Bookatrix for a silver wedding anniversary used various card for layers when cutting the pages out i always cut them out round the actual embossed part and not from the edge of the card by doing this i am left with the card intact which i use for the box lid.

Just a few more cards to do i've even got a topper stamped out and coloured in ready for another card doubt i'll get it finished tonight though.

will get to play with my Popcorn bear bumper kit had a quick look through it when i got it will be spoilt for choice as all the toppers are fab and the stamps are brilliant there super cute. right better clear up some of my mess

Hi Heres a card i made a while back haven't been able to post it here as the lady it's for is a blogger herself Happy birthday Von hope you have a great day
for this one i used a glittered Kanban decoupage sheet matted on to some gold mirricard the backing sheet is one of Joanies swirl papers i used gold border peeloffs to neaten the edges i also used My Keepsake framey board for the embossing on the card sorry the photo's a bit lop sided.

Wendy's sketch challenge 22

Hi all i'm slacking in the card making area at the moment think me mojo's gone awol again have managed to do Wendy's sketch for this week and thats just about it for this card i printed the flower design on to Crafters companion silver paper to make the backing sheet i made the flower for the topper using the Majestic Keepsake board and holding it together with a brad and stuck onto some embossed silver card which was matted onto mirricard the black mat at the back was embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder and highlighted with a silver metalic rub on i used a metal butterfly charm and a pink flower gem for embellishments

Tall stories & Dancing with shadows

Hi all decided too try the Bookatrix off the new open hearts and tall stories board using paper and image from the Dancing with shadows cd these were already printed off for another card the cards not quite finished still some embellishments to do but hubbies got the telly on plus the radio listening too the match just couldn't concentrate so will go back to it when theres some quiet in the house the back i just covered with pink leather effect card and attached some ribbon before i stuck it down will give the option to tie it closed the mum on the back is a template i got from uk scrappers i cut it with my robo then put it through the xyron wrong side down so i could glitter it the glitter is pink but is showing up purple on the picture the flower is left overs from the cuttlebug border die with a gem attached went for the pink and black again as i do like them both together gonna dive in the bath and wash the cobwebs away with a bit off luck i'll be able too here myself think when i come back down thanks for popping by

Open Heart

Hi as you can see i got the new Glitter Girls Board had to have a try of the open heart decided to make a mothers day card will do for my Daughter off my Grandson only thing is i cant decide wether to attach ribbon to the back to close it and put it in a small box or make a stand for it and put it in a long box suppose it could be attached to an A5 landscape card open or closed on a portrait one wouldn't be able too have too much embelishment layers inside on the portrat 1 or it would make it look too bulky when closed then again it would go on a Bookatrix oh well decissions decissions still plenty of time left to work it out Mothers Day is on the 2nd March this year how has it skipped that far forward hope there not planning on bringing Christmas forward aswell lol well thats all for now got to try the tall stories next thanks for popping by

Romance board not for Valentines yet

hi ive Just finished making this card for a friend who will be 50 next month using the glitter Girls Romance board using some pearlescent card gold embossed paper some gold card acetate and some peel offs the large butterfly was adhered with silicone glue and a champagne glass charm was attached with a pearl brad hope she likes it just debating wether to add some gems to the acetate hmm oh and my new board came today so hopefully can do something with it thanks for popping by

Hi i havent done many cards been playing with inkscape trying too get to grasp with the programme for my Robo which i got in june and havent really bothered with im eagerly waiting arrival of the new Glitter Girls Open Hearts and Tall stories board too have a bash with so thought id better have a go of the last one i got another one of those things you buy and put to one side and never get round to using so does Craft addiction come under the catergory of shopaholic or hoarding think it feeds both in other words got to have it even though theres no where to put it lol I made this Card using the Celebration board just love the shape of the frame and it was made from pieces of card from my bit box so the only A4 sheet of card i used was for the card itself the frame fitted perfect round the pyrimage i did when i did the previous card just Embelished with a bit of gold Sakura pen to highlight and some gems and peel offs and a tassle i had intended on putting some floral eyelets i bought ages ago but as usual cant find them when you need them so i'd already put the holes in so used the copper effect ones so it matches in with the colour of the card well ive got to go clear my scraps up now thanks for popping by

Tribute to Dylan

Hi not sure about a title for this one

haven't been on for a while this has been such a sad year made a few cards not as many as normal was asked to do a card by the auntie of a young boy Called Dylan who sadly lost his battle with cancer last week he was only six years old his auntie had wrote the verse rather long but from the Heart was in a dilemma what kind of card to do Dylan loved his football and supported Newcastle united so finally decided to do a bookatrix with the Newcastle background made it more of a Keepsake than a Sympathy card its Dylans funeral today and he asked for people to wear there Newcastle tops. my heart goes out to his Family today didn't know them personally but from what ive been told he was an amazing young boy. RIP Dylan god surely has a new Angel at his side

Xmas Bookatrix

Hi all haven't been on for a while so heres my latest Bookatrix with box have been dreading this one was asked too do a card for my daughters friend for her mam i have just recently lost mine so wasnt sure if i'd be able too make the card
well i did it took me a while so just hope she likes it as really my heart wasn't in it found myself in tears while trying too cut the decoupage out

Christening

Hi at a christening tomorrow finally decided on another Bookatrix just got too decorate the box and its all done used my 3dcd2 for the decoupage and the backing paper u could sit for hours just making backgrounds trying all combinations with the chosen image.
Dont forget clocks go back tonight an extra hour in bed as if we havent enough hours in the day they go and shorten them lol

heres the box just opted for a bow and peel off border round the cut out didnt want it too glitzy for a boy.

Goodmorning Sunday

aptly named the sun is shining its still cold though going too have myself a cuppa then back too the grind toys and stuff too pick up the aftermath of having the grandson stopping the weekend
hes a mini tornado you know when he's been lol
just a thought how come theres a sunday everyweek but never a daughters day
