2 Birthday Cards

Hi all i had made these 2 cards but couldn't post them on here as the 2 birthday girls they were for are both bloggers safe too post now as there birthdays have passed the first one is a one of Mo Manning's digistamps from the Danni & friends set

the other being Tilda with rose, both coloured with pro markers Papers, flowers, gems etc from stash was in the middle of doing a christmas card until the dreaded Crafters block set in

hope it doesn't last too long have my Daughters birthday card to do for saturday.

Birthday card

Hi here's the birthday card finished love this one both images and the happy birthday are from a sheet of wrapping paper just cut them out and matted them onto some black card you can see by the smaller image that it is already glittered i used a black piece of card for the base card the backing paper i used is one of Joanies swirl papers i added a blue tint to it in my graphics programme i think it ties in rather well with the colours on the images the smaller round image the hat has another layer didn't waste anything on the sheet as its from the end of the sheet where parts of the image are cut short i used double embossed glitter border peeloffs to go round the edges and added a silver bow as embellishment makes a rather quick but effective card

Birthday card

Hi heres a birthday card i made using a Kanban decoupage sheet and some dovecraft designer paper i used the swiss dots folder to emboss the raspberry pink card and matted both the paper and decoupage to some silver mirricard i added two chipboard flower as embelishment the greeting is a peel off added to a chipboard circle sorry about the flash it's to dark to take pic with out it

for this one i used a glittered Kanban decoupage sheet matted on to some gold mirricard the backing sheet is one of Joanies swirl papers i used gold border peeloffs to neaten the edges i also used My Keepsake framey board for the embossing on the card sorry the photo's a bit lop sided.

Hi Just popped on with what i thought was the last card for the Birthday companions this month should of checked me list first have another two to do plus try and catch up on Wendy's challenge cards think theres five to do eek panic stations this card is made using a backing sheet and fan sheet made by Joanie just love her swirl papers best get me thinking cap on

Belated Birthday Cards

Hi have had to make a couple of Belated Birthday cards having not being able to get into cardmaking have missed a few of the girls birthdays from the Birthday companions have one more to make to catch up for this month hopefully i used the same image for both cards just changing the colour the lilac backing sheet is one of Pink Petticoats and the swirl paper is Joanie's one of the girls off the Imag-e-nation forum

Hi heres a card i made for a friend on the crafters companion forum one of the members of the birthday companions the image is decoupaged and highlighted with glitter its matted on to a piece of embossed paper which is matted onto some silver mirricard the backing sheet is one of Emerald's a very talented lady on the Ukscrappers forum i added some braid and paper roses as embellishment

she collects me 2 you bears i added a frame to the image before taking it into 3dcd2 to pyrimage it i also made the top backing sheet in it the bottom sheet was made in toolbox just have to do the insert now then i can post it off

Birthday card

Hi Heres a card Ive made for one of the girls off crafters companion forum the backing paper is from Joanna Sheens oriental dreams cd the image i stamped using versa mark and gold sparkle embossing powder and coloured in with Twinkling H2os it was then attached too some black card which was matted onto some gold mirricard and edged with gold peel offs the small fans are clear peel offs backed with different papers i also added two paper flowers onto the back of hair as embellishment

Birthday Companions card

Hi heres a card i made for one of the lasses on cc forum it's a bit late her Birthday today I'm running behind on cards for the Birthday companions must get a move on and get some more made i seem to be on a go slow at the minute had a tooth extracted yesterday so feeling a bit sorry for myself
for this card i used a backing sheet made by Joanie off the imag-e-nation forum the Butterfly is one of Erika's templates off Uk scrappers i cut one in turquoise and one in blue i matted the turqouise one onto some holographic card then overlaid the blue removing the butterfly first i added two gems and a butterfly for embellishment the name i welded in inkscape and cut on robo with seperate letters which were embossed using swiss dots folder then added on top of the welded word i have a first birthday card to make for tomorrow undecided on what to do yet

Birthday card

Hi all finally got the card done for the birthday companions

i got the image from the fashion boutique cd and took it through 3dcd2 to make a pyrimage and the backing sheet i then took the image into robo master to make the frame to cut out i used a piece embossed paper with border peel offs and corners which i added gems too i then used the cuttlebug calligraphy embossing folder to emboss a sheet of gold paper and layered that on top with peel off borders around and a couple of paper roses for embellishment the happy birthday is a piece of ribbon just got to make the envelope then get it posted hopefully she'll get it for monday

40th birthday card

hi made this card for a 40th birthday loved the image and paper had to make it as soon as i seen it it was made by one of the girls on the imag-e-nation Forum its just a straight forward card theres no matting and layering just the decoupage to cut out and put together the Happy Birthday and the 40 topper i made myself this afternoon as i wanted something to tie in with the colours instead of just sticking a peel off on off for another play see wot i can come up with thanks for stopping by

birthday card

Hi have made this card for a friend she likes fairies and butterflies i made the pyrimage and backing sheet in 3dcd and added some glamour dust to the image its backed on to a piece of pearlescent card which was embossed with a cuttlebug folder which i highlighted the embossed image using chalks that was matted onto a piece of mirricard which i used peel offs to give it a frame effect the greeting is from another cuttlebug folder used it to emboss a piece of watermark paper and cut a section out and matted it to a piece of mirricard the butterflies i stamped and heat embossed onto vellum then cut them out hope she likes it

finishing touch

back again forgot i had these clear peel offs just stuck them to some left over paper from the frame cut round and stuck to card with some foam squares papers not creased for some reason photos picking up the hammer card used as the actual card

printing onto pearlescent paper

hi sorry about the glare backing sheets were printed out on pearlescent paper been using Joanna sheens fashion boutique cd again had to do another card for the birthday companions one more left to do for this month theres only one layer of decoupage on this one just to highten the lady a bit the paper was layered on top of each other no matting a few peel off borders used on edges and a frame from Mary's blog cut out with robo have added a bag embellishment but feel it needs something else not sure what yet

Hi just been making another card for the Birthday companions this time i took the image from Joanna Sheens Fashion Boutique cd and put it through the 3d cardbuilder 2 too do a pyrimage plus some backing papers i had came across a blog with some brilliant GSD files made by Mary

one was of some frames one of which i stretched to fit the image then cut on pink card with robo the card that was left over was used as a mat for one of the backing papers highlighted with some peel off borders and corners the greeting was some peel offs i got a while back i couldn't of asked for a better match just added a few pink gems which were on hand i really like these frames may be using them more often got a few more cards to do for this months birthdays spoilt for choice on which images to use

Fashion boutique cd plus a bit of robo

Hi ive got a few birthdays coming up on the crafters companion forum had a play with my new cd originally i was going to make a name edged card i cut with robo but it eventually ended up being glittered and used as part of the topper i had cut a layering mat one of the gsd files made by Erika off uk scrappers it was bigger than the image so had a brain wave to fold it back on itself and add some gems the Happy Birthday is also a gsd file cut and matted onto the same card and paper quite pleased with the result getting pushed off pc grandson wants to go on disney

keep going back to this cd for some reason

Hi just finished this card made from the dancing with shadows cd printed the image and greeting on to acetate then glittered the petticoat to highlight it then affixed it to a piece of Dufex type card with a sticky dot and a brad both backing sheets are from the cd the pink one was matted onto black card used peel off borders to neaten the edges and affixed a shoe charm with a dab of silicone glue couldnt decide which pic to put on

back to shadows cd

Hi i had to do a card for a friend on the cc forum dont know how many attempts i tried to get a proper photo of this but the glitter effect card in the background wasnt having it managed 2 views but still not the colour its supposed to be the image and background paper are from the dancing with shadows cd printed onto acetate the wings were coloured with Sakura stardust pens even printed the greeting out for a change and then attached to a piece of dufex card with some glue dots at the back of the fairies and a brad fastened through to secure it which was then stuck to a piece of satin effect paper which was matted on to a piece of purple mirricard the corners are from a cuttlebug die
