Just Inspirational Challenge 3

Morning all it's Thursday again which means We have another challenge for you over at the Just inspirational Challenge blog wow week 3 already no sketch or recipe this time just a Theme - Vintage other than that anything goes.

For my card i've used Joanna Sheens Victorian romance cd for the image & checked paper needed something to fit into the frame other than what i've had to print out everythings from my stash actually starting to use stuff the yellow bee paper think i've had it for about 2 year now The frame & flourishes are cut out using Creatables Dies by Marianne designs i cut two sets & added pearls to where i had overlapped them i've also used a cuttlebug corner die.

The flowers are by papermania the heart button is from my local craft shop the stamped greeting is 1 from the new platinum popcorn range. Pop on over to the challenge blog to see what the other DT members have come up with & there's another prize up for grabs

Our sponsor for this week is Crafty sentiments
i'm also entering this into

using up some leftovers

Hi you dont realise how much you accumulate when making cards printing out full A4 sheets then putting the excess to one side when finished so i have decided to start using some of it up so heres the first this one has strips of gold card attached from leftovers also used the cuttlebug to make some embellishments from small pieces the frame was just a one cut out a while back which hadn't been used

Victorian Birthday

hi again thought it was time i started using some of me bits and pieces up this image and backing papers are from the Joanna Sheen Victorian Birthdays cd have quite a few different ones printed out dont know if other people are the same but when you first get a cd seem to print out more than you'll use first time then there left lying in a drawer instead of printing them out as needed so for this card i used both backing papers as you would paper a wall with a border across and the Image sheet which has a few different sizes on it the Border is one of the cuttlebug Border Dies i had a piece of black glitter card left over so cut it with that the Frame is what was leftover when the die was cut out just had too put the little strips across the joins of the three small images the larger image was just matted onto plain black card as was the white card with the greetings peel off on just realised havent used any border peel offs think thats a first for me lol thanks again for stopping by off for another play
