Diploma card

Morning all another dreary day here not raining as yet but looks like we're in for some had a few cards to make was asked for 1 for some one who has passed their Diploma to become a Teacher.

Boy was i stumped at first finally came up with this one using one of the cute companions mice stamped her a few times so i could do some paper piecing on the dress (paper used from the cute companions cd) also sprayed it with gold spray & sparkle i used promarkers to colour her in hope she likes it .

Wendy's sketch challenge 18

Hi heres my attempt at Wendy's sketch i used a raspberry pink pearlescent card for the base then matted 2 pieces of patterned paper onto silver mirricard i lightened the shade of 1 first i made a 3inch square card and covered it with paper from the cute companions cd i attached a length of ribbon before matting it onto silver mirricard i used two strips of raspberry pink ribbon with some silver border peel offs and attached a butterfly i tied the ribbon into a bow around the square card the card had to have secret message i just stamped a greeting using Brilliance pearlescent orchid ink

Wendy's sketch Challenge 16

Hi i managed to get Wendy's sketch done i used papers from the cute companions cd edged with gold border peel offs i used a strip of card for the border and stamped a greeting using gold sparkle embossing powder you had 2 use a stamped image i stamped two out using different card and embossing powders i added some glitter and a metal bow diecut for embellishment cut on cuttlebug not sure if i like this one

Tilda on cute companions

Hi ive finally give in and treat myself to a Tilda stamp i Stamped the image onto white card using Brilliance ice blue ink for a suttle effect then coloured it with pencils apart from the wings which i used a Sakura stardust pen and then decoupaging one of the wings (the colours dont show up as much in photo) i then mounted the image onto a scenic background off the Cute companions cd (the backing paper is also off the cd )i then matted it onto a piece of blue paper which was embossed using the swiss dots cuttlebug folder i made a pelmet effect using one of the cuttle bug border embossing folders the flower stems at the bottom are also one of the cuttlebug embossing borders cut out love these borders i then highlighted all of the embossed bits using a gold metalic rub on i added some blue gems to the flowers and a flower brad and a some ribbon for embellishment i also added some gold border peel offs around the matted frames

another Highchair

Hi i had to do a highchair for my daughter one of her friends has just had a baby boy been waiting to find out what it was before i could do it cut out on robo using Erika's template i used the cute companions cd for the gingham print embelished it with peeloffs and WTP clear stickers decided to do just the one window in the box looking now think i should of printed a pattern on the other side of the card so the inside of the box isn't plain Grandsons getting ready to go home his dads on his way to pick him up so got some clearing up to do

Wendy's Sketch Challenge 9

Hi i've made this card for Wendy's challenge using the Cute companions cd for the backing papers which i changed the colours in the colouriser and printed both sheets out one to cover the card the other one to cut a matching strip out to overlay down the middle so the pattern matched up i used a piece of mirricard to go across with a piece of wide ribbon attached and a length of narrow ribbon with a bow in the middle to run down the edge of the card the topper i cut out with the robo one of Erika's designs i glittered it all using different colours i then backed it onto a piece of green card the dragonfly is a charm attached with silicone the peel off greeting was attached to a metal oval shape theres a glare off the flash on the picture of the card managed to get a close up without the flash it gives a truer effect of the topper

an ATC

Hi ive finally got round to the ATC i was gonna make the background is from the Cute Companions cd its an extra print out on the decoupage sheets i stamped and heat embossed one of the mice twice once on a patterned piece of paper so i could cut the smock out and layer it the rest is coloured using Sakura pens i just added a few gems and a just for you peel off my mojos gone walkabout i've got a card to make but my minds gone blank

Cute companions number stamps

Hi all been having another play this time havent printed directly from the cute companions cd used the jpegs instead the background paper with the mice i made using a crop from one of my cards as theres no mice images on it there only available as the stamps theres some great papers on it though the alphabet and the scenery decoupage can be used for various other things the number stamps are a good size would be ok with shrink plastic aswell this card i made the mouse background cropping it to a square and copying it to a blank A4 size sheet i then went into the cd through photo plus which i then cut a larger square of contrasting paper and pasting that with the other background sheet then copying one of the ribbons and adding a white text with a shadow i cut and pasted it with the others then uzing the freesize button sized it to the length of the smaller background then rotated it so it would fit on the A4 sheet lastly i took some of the buttons and added them to the sheet so i had everything except a topper on the sheet to print out i put the card together then stamped and heat embossed the number and today which i then used sakura glaze pens to colour in finally i put them upside down in the xyron to tack the front and covered them in glamour dust to give them a sparkle ive used border peel offs just to neaten the edges and a clear sakura pen to highlight the wording and add a bit glitz to the buttons im off to do an ATC i think thanks for stopping by

Hi i bought the quick cards made easy mag yesterday it had a free beatrix potter stamp thought it would go great with the cute companions the backing sheet and decoupage scenery are both off the cd stamped both images and used sakura pens to colour them there was a christmas stocking hanging on the walll so i took it into another programme to remove it just used copper peeloff borders and a strip of text ribbon think i'll have to have a look around for some small embellishments to go with these stamps

Cute Companions Stamps

Hi ive just got round to cutting one set of the cute companions stamps the black spotted paper i made in 3dcd2 by drawing a black circle in paint then opening it in the programme already had this printed out thought it made a good backdrop to the decoupage scene off the cute companions cd apart from these all of the elements on the card are off 1 set of stamps theres quite a lot in each set i stamped these ones using versamark and a gold embossing powder the jacket was stamped and coloured with sakura using a koi water pen the dress was stamped onto a spare piece of paper and the butterfly was stamped on white card and coloured directly with sakura pens

Cute companions

Hi heres a card i made last night using the Cute companions cd the heart papers from the actual cd i had a bit of a play in publisher making a background and frame then inserting the letters and buttons with the jpegs from the cd adding extra to layer up i then took the topper background into 3dcd2 to make more backing sheets one of which i used to cover the card i then used glamour dust on parts of the decoupaged letters and buttons and also the frame dont know what was sparkling more me or the card lol i then added some peel off border and a strip of ribbon with a slider from a cuttlebug die with a just for you peel off added to it well its friday have to go food shopping might take a detour to the craft shop see if theres owt new

Crafters Companion Cute Companions cd

Hi sorry the titles a bit of a mouth full recieved my new cd just waiting for the stamps to match still i had to print something out theres some excellent papers and scenery/background images (Also decoupaged ones) to print out had to make do with my Winnie the pooh stamps for the time being i added flowersoft and flower and butterfly sequins

for embellishments stamped Tigger twice so i could layer him pooh was stamped once so he would fit coming out from behind the tree they were both coloured in using marvy pens and a koi water brush just got to try and be patient waiting for my stamps to turn up time for bed i think if i yawn any harder i may swallow the monitor
