Grace in pink this time

Hi all just finished this card using Joy standing she's in pink this time have coloured her in with copics the image was cropped before being printed.

Had printed a few images out before my pc had went off, hows that for foresight bet you can't guess who's next. The papers used are from stacks which were free with a couple of magazines. The corners are cuttlebug dies, i've used nesties for the frame & greeting the Lace & ribbon are from my stash serves me right for colouring in willy nilly last week now i need to go hunting for matching papers for the next one.

Hi all back again with a card this time probably could of done with another layer but couldn't bring myself to cover too much of the paper up, it's a fab colour green the pic doesn't do it justice.
a/Sugar nellies Joy sitting again only printing a section of her out this time she's coloured in with copics. i've used Mirricard for the frame which was cut out using scalloped oval nesties & embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. The ribbon slider is also a nesties tag. I've overlayed a piece of lace with checked ribbon. Flowers are from Wild orchid crafts, the leaves are cut using the Martha Stewart frond punch & the stem gems are from my stash.

I've been married to my hubby Richie for 25 yrs this coming October ouch where's the time gone.

I used to work in a florists til i ended up getting an allergy to something, real christmas trees are a no no in our house.

I Have 2 gorgeous grandsons Callum 7 & Jack 2 who needs keep fit classes.

I have another grandchild due in July 4weeks til we find out wether a girl or a boy.

I'm moderator for Crafters Companion Forum have made some fabulous crafty friends there.

I will try anything craftwise even if it's just the once just to prove to myself i can do it.

I hate craft Knives have a collection of them still to find one that i can use, is it cos i'm a lefty or just too heavy handed, i can still manage to get some fine shavings off a metal ruler when trying to cut a straight line with one.

I'm a chocaholic too the darker the better it's got to have that zing.

Twisted Easel card

Hi all just finished this card went for the Twisted Easel still prefer the original fold i'm afraid the opening is a bit off putting could just be because i'm a lefthander.

For this card i've used Joy sitting a digi stamp by Sugar nellie printed onto digital ultra smooth card from craftwork cards i've coloured her with copics. i just adore this image have another one of her already coloured ready to go on a card, hopefully will get it done tonight. The DP used is double sided so i didn't need 2 sheets think it was out of a pack of 12x12 papers. i've used the reverse side for the borders with some blue card punched with a Martha Stewart border punch attached to the back. Oh well i'm off to hunt for some green papers.

Spider Henry & web Easel card

Morning all finally got round to colouring Henry mouse dressed as spiderman in after pondering what to put him on decided to have a little play & blow the dust of robo here's what i came up with a Twisted Easel card think i should of cut a different colour for the base mat as you can't really see the webbing even though it has Atyou glitter pen on it.

Lady in red

Hi all just popped on with the card i just made got some lovely red & black flocked satin ribbon couldn't decide wether to use it or not as you can see i decided against it. Well the wind did eventually die down so i had a normal walk home good in a way as i prefer to see where i am going not where i've been plus it meant the lamp posts were safe can be hazardous walking backwards you know.

Oh right back to the card forgot i'd bought these Kanban stamps found them tucked away in a drawer amazing what you find when looking for something else. I stamped the image onto Neenah cardstock coloured with copics i have also used an atyou spica glitter pen (in red) on the feathers, choker, straps & gloves not that you can see it on here.The backing paper is a sheet from 1 0f Crafters companions luxury A5 sheet packs another thing i found while looking for something else i cut the flourishes from black card using various Marianne creatable dies then attached them to the card using Anita's tacky glue, the sentiment is attached too a Nesties tag with a feather attached to the back & 2 pearls added to the front.

Double heart easel & box

Hi all hope everyones well sorry not been about pc packed up on me just aswell i had the forsight to back everything up on to me external drive or i would of lost the lot have the unenviable task of putting everything back on the new drive now. Well saying i had some time on me hands came up with an idea for a card the box was an after thought but it was fun to make.

The box is a near match to the card inside pity i didn't have some choccies to go in it though knowing me they wouldn't make it into the box lol

haven't got round to reinstalling my fonts hence the change in my watermark the butterfly was showing up as a B oh & here's the card out of the box a double heart Easel.

not sure what occasion to use it for so the verses are just slotted in to the frames for the time being.
Tools used Scalloped heart nestabilities cuttlebug embossing folders all cardstock from my stash roses from Wild orchid craftsno links i'm afraid still got to transfer my favourites back over hope i don't have to do them individually will still be here this time next year.

Heart easel card

Hi all managed to have a little play today i got a cute set of little Bentley bear stamps free with the Cardmaking & papercraft Magazine so thought i'd make an Easel card using the Heart Nesties

The base i cut out in white card all of the Hearts to decorate the card were cut out of the 1 sheet of red cardstock some of it i sprayed with Crafters companion Gold spray & sparkle some i embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder then going over it with a sanding block to highlight the embossing & some of it i just left plain. The image & sentiment were out of the set which i stamped onto Neenah cardstock & coloured with copics i've added a bow for embellishment.

I've printed her with a blue tint & slightly larger for a 6x6 card as i wanted her to be the main focus.

3 Lotv Bears Teachers xmas easel cards

Hi all keeping my fingers crossed for this post internet connections been playing up something chronic here's 3 cards i've made for our Cals Teachers using 3 variations of Lotv James Bear stamps.

He's so cute & easy to colour i've used a touch of Jones tones crystal glitter on the stars so the colour still shows through.

Decided to do easel cards just love the effect they give. I used the Gold Flowersoft for the tinsel think they were made for each other. think we need some more colours apart from just the gold & silver though hint hint Noreen.

Hi all just diving on with a quick post Daughter asked me to make some invites for our Callum's birthday party this month can't believe he'll be 6 times just flying.

White printable card, for the background & text done with publisher Printable Parchment for the map which i had to google for an embossing tool to raise parts of the map. Red, white & black cardstock for the skull & crossbones which was a cuttlekids Die seemed a good idea until i was halfway through cutting 40 of each colour got muscles like popeye now lol (could of done with some spinach).

Hi all was asked to make a 50th birthday card it's like getting blood from a stone lately Mojo's playing up something chronic but after stamping & colouring two different images pulling a load of papers out & even making the basis for an easel card i ended up going through some of my cds ended up printing this image out. with 3 of the pics being the same size it was quick to decoupage.

Hi all here's a card i made for the Crafters Companion special edition make Christmas cards magazine which is on sale now. It's jam packed with handy tips & some fab projects included with it is a Popcorn bear clear stamp set a christmas embossing board & 40 sheets off assorted christmas papers, decoupage & toppers. a big pat on the back for Meg from CC for a job well done

Sorry about the pic love printing on the Crafters companion Snow white centura pearl card but it's murder to photograph you can't see the snow flake effect on the background because of the glare.
Background printed from one of the Crafters companion cd's forgot which 1 well it was in July lol Image is from CC Just for you popcorn bear stamp set i'd used copics to colour in also some polar white flowersoft for the fur on the hats with some stickles & off course some irridescent spray & sparkle for the snow i added some glitter snow i got from local B & M's store was only 99p for a big bag i used tacky glue to add it to a piece of card which had been punched with an MS border punch to get like a hill type shape this was attached to the card using foam pads so i could arrange a background scene using some cut outs from some christmas cuttlebug dies then popcorn & souffle were attached to the front.

Hi all hope your well just popped on with a card i had to do was just finishing the box off this morning when they called to collect it phew. Sorry about the photo's they seem a bit grainy it was a mad rush to take them i've a sneaky feeling me camera's been dropped.

For this card I've used the Hugs Swalk stamp set by Crafters companion coloured with Copics just treat myself to the full set from Sir Stampalot after convincing myself i needed them. I've used a Nesties scalloped circle & a Marianne designs die to mount the image onto also a Nesties Large label die for the verse

Just Inspirational Challenge 4

Hi all this weeks challenge over at Just Inspirational is to use a Digi stamp the team was asked to use 1 of 4 images which are the prize for this weeks lucky winner hop over & see which ones my fellow teamies have used.

I opted for this little cutie then nearly stumped myself usually associate rabbits with Easter. So i decided to do a childs card. The Adorable little Bunny is a Digi stamp from Delicious Doodles coloured with Copics for the number i used a font which i resized, coloured & flipped then printed it out on the reverse of the patterned paper i then cut it out mounted it onto Mirriboard & cut round that now thinking i should of done the number 4 for challenge 4. The Cupcakes & streamers are from a cuttlebug Disney cut & emboss die set (take the cake) topping for the cupcakes are Stickles, Polar white flowersoft & Cosmic shimmer Glitter jewels.

Morning all it's Thursday again which means We have another challenge for you over at the Just inspirational Challenge blog wow week 3 already no sketch or recipe this time just a Theme - Vintage other than that anything goes.

For my card i've used Joanna Sheens Victorian romance cd for the image & checked paper needed something to fit into the frame other than what i've had to print out everythings from my stash actually starting to use stuff the yellow bee paper think i've had it for about 2 year now The frame & flourishes are cut out using Creatables Dies by Marianne designs i cut two sets & added pearls to where i had overlapped them i've also used a cuttlebug corner die.

The flowers are by papermania the heart button is from my local craft shop the stamped greeting is 1 from the new platinum popcorn range. Pop on over to the challenge blog to see what the other DT members have come up with & there's another prize up for grabs

Morning all it's Thursday time for another Just Inspirational Challenge This week we have a recipe for you Pink, Cream and Brown with Ribbon, Buttons/gems and glitter.

Image used Sarah Kay Love Nature by Stampavie coloured with Distress Inks & Twinkling H2o's wich was a first for me. Cardstock used is Bazill & Kanban i think. I,ve used Nesties for the frame held together with a brad slightly offset so more of the image is on show the flowers are punched glitter card using a small retro flower punch the word Friends is a brad Sprayed with CC Iridescent spray & sparkle all items from my stash

Whoops sorry i'm late well it's Wednesday & time for WOYWW don't know what it is then pop over to Julia's blog & see Sorry nothing crafty going on at the minute having to have a bit of a sort got a DT card to make before tomorrow & need to find certain colours.

Can actually see my cricut now the pile of papers have vacated to the top of the drawers under the table might get to use it now.

& just for Kate a bit of floor no broken biscuits it still needs mopping though any volunteers baskets sorted in drawers til Grandson gets back in.

Confiscated this shelving off my son just the right width so it doesn't catch the door can't use the lower shelves at the minute Jack thinks whatever he can reach is his notice the masking tape on the drawers i've had to move up a shelf cos he discovered he could open them the monkey was my Dads a gift from his Sister me Mam give me it when he passed away.

well i'm off to start pulling my cupboard out knowing my luck the cardstock will be in the last place i look Shhhh hope my Son doesn't see this he'll spot where i've hid my Double choca mocha

Afternoon all another red hot day here today off to a BBQ later thats if i'm not cooked first.Here's the card i made from the bits that were on my desk i just love this floral paper only have a few sheets left will have to pop back to the craft shop & get some more if they did it in wallpaper it would definatley be on my wall

The image is Shoejses Girl with cake by Marianne designs Stamped & coloured with Derwent watercolour pencils with a touch of iced coffee stickles for the icing on the cake i've used a Martha Stewart cupcake border punch on some black glitter card Nesties for the Label & mat also a cuttlebug corner die & a few peel offs. So glad there's not a WOYWF as i've been looking for something & me desk looks as though i'm constructing a model of mount everest anyone free to tidy up.

Hi all hope your enjoying the sunshine where you are such a lovely breeze coming through the windows here i'm not a sun person burn to easy so i'm sitting in the house doing some colouring in finally found a piccy of a card i made for one of the lasses on the CC forum thought i had deleted it just found it on my external drive.

I've paper pieced the image by stamping onto different papers i also embossed a piece of card using a brass stencil then run a sanding block over it to highlight the embossing

Hi all sorry it's been a while since i last posted just haven't been in a crafty mood hardly been on the PC either not like me usually on it 24/7 well i've finally got round to making a card think i've put my Hubby into shock just need to get the crafting bug back properly.

Got quite a few Birthdays coming up haven't even took the wrappers of the CC Beatrix Potter & Flower Fairies cds yet usually the first thing done is to check through them when they first arrive i did manage to cut the stamps out though eagerly awaiting the new Popcorn bear kids set the images are so cute especially popcorn in his pram awww. lets see if i can get another card done tomorrow whoops it's today.

Hi all hope your well sun's out here at the moment still chilly though got quite a few cards to do as well as start stripping the sitting room well thats me have to leave everything to the last minute must thrive on pressure yeah right lol.

Was asked to make a Mam & Dad card i've used the Popcorn bear Snow buddies stamp for the image which i've coloured with Pro markers & added polar white flowersoft to the hat trims & pom poms i also added a touch of stickles i masked the image to add some spray & sparkle to the background the snow on the ground is snow glitter a bit chunkier than flower soft but has the same effect, papers from a DCWV stack rose tinted christmas.

Appologies for the photo didn't matter which angle i tried it was picking up the colours from anything near it had to turn the flash off in the end. I've used white card as the base & attached some silver glitter card the white & the blue card i embossed using 2 of the new cuttlebug embossing folders i used a Martha Stewart Punch around the card snowflake punch set & a Martha Stewart Holly border punch there's some brilliant new ones out need them all for the sentiment i punched an oval out & added a foil merry xmas sticker to the debossed side the shaker element is made up of scalloped Nestie circles i added some snowflake peel offs around the frame. the image is a Cute companions stamp from the Christmas magic Winter tale stamp set coloured with pro markers & sprayed with silver spray & sparkle. The large snowflake is a cuttlebug die cut with some Twinklets & Jones tones clear glitter added Cardstock, Ribbon & Gems from stash Thanks for stopping by

Morning all can't believe how fast the weeks are going were on to sketch 10 already over at It's a Crafters companion challenge blog This weeks sketch is by Rachel + there's a recipe to follow use the colours White, Red & Gold
some ribbon, gems and some Embossing it can be either.

here's my card i've turned the sketch on it's side first i stamped & heat embossed the Crafters companion Christmas flower fairy stamp with gold embossing powder then coloured her using copics & Iridescent H2os for the wings then using the cuttlebug christmas tree embossing folder i embossed a piece of white & a piece of gold card and cut them out using the gold as a mat i attached a piece of Acetate to the back of the fairy at one end and the other to the back of the tree before attaching to the card so the fairy is floating in front of the tree.

Hi all thought i'd try a couple of my new stamps from the new christmas kit by Whiff of Joy some gorgeous ones and there now available to buy seperate.

i've used two for this card Willow & the sleigh i stamped two images of willow & cut one out to make a mask then stamped the sleigh over the top after colouring with Promarkers i replaced the mask & added some silver spray & sparkle i also added some glamour dust to willows Muff, collar, feathers and trim on dress the sentiment is a stamp from the Daisy & Dandelion Santa's Helpers stamp set stamped onto purple card with black stazon then sprayed with spray & sparkle all elements from stash.

All elements from my stash the tartan card is from Kanban love the shades on it i used a piece of pearlescent paper embossed with one of the new cuttlebug folders for the insole the ribbon slider is cut using a spellbinders die the wording is computer generated Woohoo my Woj Winter kit arrived today so off to cut them out.

Hi all here's my DT card for IACC challenge blog

So sorry it's late have been ill last couple of days couldn't lift me head off the pillow feel like i've gone 9 rounds with Mike Tyson i think he won ouch :-( The sketch this week is by Von fab sketch Von also be sure to check out the other DT Members for the there brilliant creations and Congratulations and welcome to Ali our newest DT member.
For this card i reversed the sketch and made a tunnel like frame all components are from my stash the image is from the Cute companions Christmas Delight Winter Tales Stamp set i stamped it 3 times so i could layer the hat scalf & mits i added a hint of aqua to the image before using some silver spray & sparkle also used it on the ribbon slider i used Polar white flowersoft for the pom poms the mirriboard is embossed with one of the Ellison christmas embossing folders have some canny sets out work just as well as the cuttlebug ones reasonably priced too.

Hi all here's a card i made using one of my Henry mouse stamps by Whiff of joy he's such a cutie i coloured the image with promarkers & added a touch of glitter not sure if you can make it out.

i'm working with one eye at the minute managed to strain the other one i'm not supposed to be on here. The papers, ribbon and gems are from my stash the sentiment is computer generated using 2 different fonts the candy cane i got my daughter to get me from the shops just had to add one its attached with ribbon threaded through 2 small eyelets thinking of putting a small tag on with To my Teacher on for Cal to give.

Good evening all just popped on with the card i made for Cal another thing he's into pirates he has so many fads at the minute glad to say he was over the moon with his Handy manny card.

This was a quick card to do A3 card folded to make an A4 card with a sheet of Blue mirricard attached just recoloured a map image for the background and attached some stickers yes stickers the pirate & treasure island are from a sheet of wall stickers there decoupaged as well one of those buys that you think why didn't i buy more when you get back in the house they where a bargain at £1-99 from our local Home bargains shop i did by the jungle & farm animal sets aswell though.

Hi all well my Daughter has done it again asked for a character card for Callums birthday.

Handy Manny this time have had to google for images found these clipart images which i had to resize and print out a few times to decoupage can just make out the layers.

i used an A3 piece of card Folded in half and attached a sheet of green card the scenic card is from Kanban had got it for something else but thought it ideal for the background.

for the insert i printed out on 2 seperate sheets of A4 paper & attached inside the embellishments are screw top brads feel as though it still needed something but to late now her Dads dropping it off for her hope she likes it

Hi all just thought i'd upload a few photo's of Jacks christening didn't get many forgot to take the memory card with me . 1st one is jack getting baptised think you can tell by everyones faces he didn't like that part.

The 2nd one has Emma my eldest with my grandson Callum just managed to get Donna hiding in the corner of the shot.

The 3rd one is Shaun, Emma's partner.

The 4th one is Emma, Shaun & Callum lucky to get as many photo's of Emma she normally runs when she sees a camera.
The 5th one is Carly my Niece she's a great lass and is now Godmother to both Callum & Jack.

The Christening favours boxes

Morning all i did manage to get a photo of some of the favour boxes when i was putting them together just went for a simple box printed the pattern onto card before cutting them out on robo the temp;ate for the box is one of Ruthans from uk scrappers just resized it so i could get 2 to 1 sheet the pattern is from Sharon Duncans Baby layette cd just added a silver christening peel off on the top of the boxes.

Von the christening photos what i did manage to get are on the internal memory of the camera need to find the lead before uploading thought i was organised charged both sets of batteries emptied the memory card took the camera out at the church to find i'd left the memory card in the printer Doh going to have to rely on getting some photos from other members of the family as the camera only holds 10 It was a great day the sun was out and he had an excellent turn out got to take son to doctors so will have to pop back later when i find the lead

Diploma card

Morning all another dreary day here not raining as yet but looks like we're in for some had a few cards to make was asked for 1 for some one who has passed their Diploma to become a Teacher.

Boy was i stumped at first finally came up with this one using one of the cute companions mice stamped her a few times so i could do some paper piecing on the dress (paper used from the cute companions cd) also sprayed it with gold spray & sparkle i used promarkers to colour her in hope she likes it .

Good Morning all another Monday and another Its a Crafters Companion challenge my turn to do the sketch this week hope you like it's my first one so looking forward to seeing the other DT members interpritations.

Ok now for the prize l have a spare copy of the Festive Occassions cd still in its wrapper it's not available to buy as it was part of a pick of the day deal when the Occassions cd was launched if you missed out on this cd why not have a go.

Pop on over to our challenge blog where you can add your entry using Mr Linky the winner will be picked by Random org if you don't have a blog there's details on how to enter by E-mail you also have a whole 2 weeks to enter your card couldn't be easier. There's also a second prize as a guest DT member. Now onto my card the image is a stamp from -

Crafters companion Vintage christmas stamp set 1 coloured with Pro markers with some polar white flowersoft added to act as the fur trim on santa's outfit then sprayed with Silver spray & sparkle all papers and the insert were printed off Crafters Companion Vintage christmas cd disc 2 .
I used a border punch on some green paper then backed it with goldcard to edge the triangles the bottom triangle is attached using foam pads on the outside edges forming a pocket i attached the santa to the pocket using DST on one leg allowing the pocket to be used i just made a mat as a backdrop but thought an envelope with money or gift voucher or even a bookmark could be used Ribbon, sentiment peel off and gems from stash .

Hi all hope everyones well it's took some doing but finally finished Jack's invitations respect goes to those who mainly deal with invitations drives me mad after a while having to do anything repetitive.

I would of been finished earlier if the Priest hadn't double booked so had to change the times, a couple of strips of card with a line embossed attached and you can't see where i had to cover the original text sheet. Just 180 boxes to do now any volunteers lol

just finished cutting my new cute companions Winter Tale stamps out there fab going to have a quick butchers at the cd then see if i can get a card done for the Sugar bowl challenge that's if i can clear some space to do some stamping then hopefully get a bit of blog hopping done see what i've been missing .

Hi all time for another It's a Crafters Companion challenge haven't these 2 weeks come round quick can't believe it's September tomorrow where's this year gone too. This weeks sketch was submitted by Tina she asks for us to use something Blue hence my first xmas card for this year It's about time i got round to using my Popcorn bear stamps. This one i coloured with Promarkers & sprayed with yes you guessed it Silver spray & sparkle just love the stuff even used it on the papers.

Insert printed from Crafters Companion Popcorn the Bear Christmas collection cd2 Frosty & Bright silly moo that i am forgot to print a verse aswell so used the Christmas Hugs stamp from the Popcorn the Bear Christmas hugs stamp collection.

Sugar Bowl Challenge sketch 18

Hi all just popped on with a card for The Sugar bowl challenge this weeks sketch provided by Kathy were asked to use some buttons. A brilliant prize up for grabs this week of the New Christmas Manga stamps which are a definate must have. keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
For this card the image i've used is one from the Sugar Nellie Autumn collection available over at Funky kits there adorable i coloured her with promarkers then cut her out and adhered her to a piece of embossed copper mirriboard.
Papers are all from the Daisy bucket Garden collection spent ages trying to decide which side to use
cardstock, leaf brad, flowers, Buttons, Ribbon & Lace all from stash.
Tools- Cuttlebug (can't remember the name of embossing folder), MS Leaf frond punch and a nifty little corner punch i got from local shop sorry don't even Know who makes them.

Hi all was lucky enough to get the Whiff of Joy Fall stamp collection available to buy seperately on the 24th August. I was cutting them out last night decided to ink this one up aint she gorgeous have coloured her in using pro markers (rather pleased the way she has turned out) carried on to make this card.

Popcorn Bear birthday card

Hi all finally got round to using the Popcorn image i had stamped and coloured one night last week this is an A5 card so can give you a rough idea on how big these stamps are. coloured with Pro markers both backing papers are one of the free members monthly downloads from crafters companion designed by the very talented Nicki.

Well the rain did stay off til late afternoon so the double glazing did eventually get fitted got another couple of cards to do then i can carry on with the Christening invitations still not decided on which box to do for the favours though.
